University of Arkansas Fort Smith – Ft Smith, AR Ultrasound tech program- The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program includes a vascular concentration. There is a high demand nationwide for certified vascular sonographers. The vascular curriculum will allow Ultrasound tech students to sit for the vascular certification examination in addition to the current abdomen, obstetrics and gynecological certifications enhancing employment opportunities for our graduate. Satisfactory achievement of this program qualifies the graduate to practice as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, RDMS.
