Ultrasound tech program – Diagnostic Medical Sonograph, is one of the most dynamic and fascinating careers in medical imaging. The ultrasound tech enjoys working with highly technical equipment using high frequency sound waves to view the human body and assist the physician in diagnosis with medical imaging.
The ultrasound technician program at Foothill College – Los Altos Hills has been in operation since 1984 and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS), and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Completion of this program qualifies the graduate to practice as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, RDMS. Accredited ultrasound technician programs.
